Carlos Checa Refuses Test Rider Offer

Carlos Checa Refuses Test Rider Offer 1 photo
Carlos Checa has no intentions of becoming a test rider, at least not for the moment gp-inside reports.
It looks like Carlos Checa is not exactly eager to get back to professional riding, even if it's as a test rider, presumably for Ducati. Unlike Troy Bayliss or Casey Stoner, Checa seems rather happy to stay away from this kind of riding. He admits that he likes to ride with friedns and enjoy enduro and trial fun, but there will be no racing or testing for the time being.

At the same time, Checa is recovering after his last injury which gave him a pelvis fracture, in Istanbul, Turkey.

He adds that he is still involved with Ducati as an ambassador and will do the same for Nolan, whenever asked to, but things are just fine as they are at the moment.

Checa decided to hang his leathers in mid-autumn this year, and thus put an end to a wonderful career which span across more than 2 decades and after riding in the 125, 250, 500GP, and WSBK, with a World Superbike title in 2011.
