The reason behind the fact Carlos Boozer is one of the most recognizable and well-established free agents out there is unknown to us, and it’s only fair to be that way. After all, let us not forget we’re car people here, we’re discussing speed, torque and a little bit of drifting, not sports. We can, however, tell you what the basketball player has been doing with his Ferrari FF lately.
Word in the sports world is that the 33-year-old two-time NBA All-Star is having some problems with his career lately, since there aren’t many offers coming. On the other hand, he last played for the Los Angeles Lakers, so he shouldn’t be left behind when the time comes. To be honest, judging by his auto activity, it wouldn’t seem he has any concerns about the future either.

Before we talk about the Ferrari FF in question and its recent upgrade, we’d like to take a short detour and look back on the fellow’s current auto-collection. First he bought a Mercedes S550 he sent straight to the shop. He had its paint redone, added some new pair of shoes and got the interior customized.

Then, he put his Rolls-Royce Wraith through the same treatment. A pimped-out Mercedes Sprinter was the last in line. All these cars were customized by the same Miami-based Auto Firm shop, so we find it natural for his most recent purchase to get the same touch. Four seat and four-wheel drive with a top speed of 208 mph should all make for the proper celebrity ride, but we all know Boozer is not going to settle with a stock vehicle.

Aside from the fact the Italians say the FF was the world’s fastest four-seat automobile upon its release to the public, they also claim it comes with “four comfortable seats that cocoon driver and occupants alike.” Well, it’s not working that well for the 6 ft 9 in (2.06 m) sportsman, apparently, considering they had to move the car’s factory seats 9 inches so it could fit Boozer. Other than that, the Prancing Horse also received a new pair of rims, of course.
