Just when we were beginning to think that their specialty is that of adorning Mercedes-Benz off-road trucks and vans interiors with square miles of leather sewn in the most intricate patterns, the Poles from Carlex Design manage to surprise us.
This time, we are not talking about the finest and most opulent leather upholstery but about another material – one that is slightly more expensive and most definitely more fit for Goldmember, from Austin Powers.

We are obviously talking about 24 carat gold, a material from which every aluminium bit in a customer's Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG interior will be replaced with in their latest project.

While were not entirely sure why someone would choose to sprinkle so much gold inside his (or hers) S 63 AMG, we can't really judge. Either way, the level of finesse and craftmanship in those gold parts looks mighty impressive.

We will keep you posted when the project is completed and we will probably have more details about it. Unless it gets involved in an unfortunate shmelting accident, of courshe. Yesh, yesh, yesh!
