Car Versus Truck - Russian Accident

The size discrepancy between cars on roads around the world is ever-increasing. We’re seeing larger and larger trucks and SUVs, while at the same time city cars are getting ever smaller. This has always been a problem and will continue to plague motorists, well, for as long as there are cars.
The driver of this truck simply does not see the car speeding towards him or chooses not to. Either way, in the given situation, contact was practically unavoidable. The driver of the car with the dash-cam did the best he could to avoid the crash, choosing to hit the truck with the rear-left side of his car, thus avoiding injuring himself and his passenger.

Never forget that trucks have very bad visibility. Always be weary around them, keep your distance and drive safely, and if you are a truck driver, be weary of hatchbacks out on the road - they may feel like bumps, but they aren’t.
