In today’s automotive landscape, boundaries such as family identity, safety regulations and aerodynamics make it more and more difficult for an aficionado to come across an original design when it comes to mainstream vehicles. We now have a breath of fresh design air, in the form of the compact executive proposal above.
The rendering comes from a high school freshman and, in its maker’s words, “rivals the C class, 3 Series, and the A4. My vision of the car is that it is a blend of luxury and sport, without it being the "sport" model (RS4, M3 etc).”

Sure, one may say that the front grille resembles an Oldsmobile, or that the front area has a bit of an Nissan/Infiniti air to it, but the truth is that this is the most original design we’ve seen in a while.

The teenager, who plans to study design in college, has already imagine a whole range of vehicles. His brand is called Zephyrus, while all the cars are named after Greek Gods. The one you see here is dubbed Aidos, with its full name being Aphrodite Aidos.

The design took him six months to complete and, like we said, will be followed by others. The teen aims to design and render more and more vehicles for his brand until he reaches college, when he wants to major in Automotive Design.

Cheesy designations aside, we expect to hear from this guy in the future.
