So, as is fashionable near the end of a year, everyone is doing one sort of top or another and the guys from Car Advice are no exception. However, their take on the year in retrospect is quite different from what you’re used to.
Instead of making a general top where they could all chip in and get to a mutual understanding, everyone got to do their own little top 3 ranking. Fortunately for BMW, Editor-in-chief, Jez Spinks had the best vision out of the whole gang.
His top 3 cars for 2013 has the BMW i3 on the top spot followed by the Renault Clio and Ford Fiesta ST. His motivation? It goes a little something like this:
“Will electric cars ever be bought by the masses rather than a minority mix of wealthy early adopters or government fleet buyers? We’re still many a year away from the former scenario, but the BMW i3 (above) is one of the most convincing examples of the breed yet.”
