When you are a British luxury automotive brand which is more than a century old one can indulge in odd developments such as launching your own brand of perfumes. After all, some have used pistons from their old cars as bottles of whiskey and others even love entertaining folks all over the world in their namesake adventure parks.
We know you got the Ferrari World reference, but in case you have trouble pinpointing the exact manufacturer that hopefully does not mix drinking and driving we can tell you it is Aston Martin. The maker just revealed the Black Bowmore DB5 1964 Scottish Whisky which uses an actual piston from the vintage model as part of the housing for the single malt.

Bentley’s Silverlake is quite the opposite of such extravagance. Instead, the Crewe-based automaker’s Bentley Fragrances division (which happily perfumes people in England, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas since way back in 2013) chose the simplicity of a sleek silver bottle.

The new Silverlake scent, part of the Bentley for Men range, is sold as an Eau de Parfum and can be had online and from select retailers in Europe and the UK for just £69.50 for 100 milliliters.

Quite the bargain for something carrying the Bentley label, especially since it has been crafted from the best natural materials to the company’s usual high standards. The new Bentley For Men Silverlake perfume has been created by a promising young perfumer by the name of Ane Ayo.

The scent has been developed using a host of natural-like essences that were specifically designed to evoke the fresh energies of natural landscapes, from the fresh air of the mountains to the coolness of clear blue sky and the deep mysteries of virgin woods. Likewise, the new bottle design has a polished-metal top with the Bentley logo stamped on it and a signature-knurled silver cap.
