Even though we're not the biggest fans of ape hangers, extreme-rake forks and tall backrest seats, we must admit that seeing TT Customs' Captain America bike put a huge smile on our faces.
Created by the Turkish bike-guru Tarhan Telli, the Captain America is the iconic comic strips chopper, with stars and stripes, lush chromed out parts and tons of zero-compromise attitude people either love or hate. And maybe there also is a third category, people who love it but could do very well without riding the machine.
The Captain America is all about a styling statement, and less about touring, though we could indeed picture a real chopper fan riding this bike to Sturgis, his backpack as a companion and enjoying every inch of the trip.
The huge fork rake accounts for an exceptional straight-line stability, though steering could become a bit of a problem in the busy cross town traffic. Yet, we doubt the guy buying such a beauty will want to have to deal too much with the crowded cities...
And just before we let you enjoy the pics after the jump, we cannot help noticing that Captain America replaced the photo on the desk with the painted Wonder Woman on the tank. So, “my bike is my office, right?” Niiice...
