Canadian Road Safety Campaign Targets Riders and Drivers Alike

Here's a new and very neat campaign for road safety coming from Canada, aiming to raise awareness among car drivers and motorcycle riders alike, to reduce the number of accidents.
The public service announcement comes from the Quebec Car Insurance Organization (SSAQ), a body which aims to make Cabada a better palce. The message is quite strong, though it is less graphic than the amazing yet lifelike-brutal TAC campaigns in Oz.

Rider visibility is the key element of this video called “When in a car, let's think about bikes”. The campaign stresses the need of bikers making themselves better seen in traffic, while on the other hand, urging the drivers to look better in traffic and thus be able to spot incoming riders.

The roads of the planet could possibly be safer with such campaigns running in multiple countries for months in a row. Bravo, les Quebecoises! Seen on Motorbiker.
