I think BMW just bribed Google to get my search history. How else should I explain that they put together a video of five M2 coupes and Gigi Gadid?
She's not my #1 internet hot girl, but it's a close run thing with Genevieve Morton. Born from a Dutch supermodel mom and a Palestinian real-estate developer, she redefines what it means to be hot. We all know her from Sports Illustrated's annual swimsuit issue and from that Calvin Harris video, but she's never starred in a car commercial... until now.
BMW hired her for the #EyesOnGigi launch campaign of the M2 performance coupe, a car that needs no introduction. The idea is simple: the sexy siren climbs into the middle of five identical models that shuffle around. At the end of the 45-second clip, you are asked to guess which one she's in.
What's worse is that the video is shot in such a way as to make it impossible to see the car at all times. Curiosity is a brilliant way to advertise anything. In order to find out the answer, you'll have to go to www.eyesongigi.com and pick all the cars until you get it right. Each time you get it wrong, the website shows you a short clip of the driver.
On our fifth try, we found out that Gigi was in M2 #5. The second video below shows what you'll see if you guess correctly. We were so infuriated that BMW used dirty tricks to hide the correct answer that we searched and found another video, a 360-degree one, that shows everything in a much clearer manner. The only downside is that the image is fuzzy, and you can't check out Gigi's sexy long legs, beautiful hair, and feminine features.
I've already started saving money to buy the M2, even though I know Gigi doesn't actually dig it that much. She isn't into driving and is usually spotted cruising Beverly Hills in a Range Rover, just like her Kardashian BFF.
