The concept of putting large engines in small cars is extremely widespread, yet few take it to an extreme level. The old generation Chevrolet Matiz/Spark was powered by an 800cc engine, which developed no power at all, and you would imagine that a turbo kit, remapped ECU, straight exhaust and custom air intake would have solved the problem for such a light city car.
Well, you`d be wrong, very wrong. You may remember a 2009 the V8-powered Matiz racecar concept, which was completely mad, in every way. It featured a 7.0-liter Corvette Z06 engine, with a power figure easily above the 500 hp mark. It also featured Corvette-sourced parts, such as the steering system and the brakes, and was said to crack the benchmark sprint in just 3.7 seconds, before it topped out at 162 mph (260 km/h).

Now, that same car (or a very accurate copy of it) has surfaced on the German version of eBay, and the seller wants at least $40,000 for it. If you are interested, the online auction can be found here.
