If you are afraid to ride a big cruiser bike yet still want to have the wind in your head and bugs in your teeth, the new 2017 Can-Am Spyder models are here to fulfill your safe-riding desires, offering thrilling bike performance with the added stability of an extra wheel.
Can-Am has revealed details about their models for 2017, starting with the all-new F3-S Daytona 500 edition. This top-end model distinguishes itself through a more sporty look given by black stripes, a full honeycomb grille with an orange stripe, intricately-cut five-spoke rims, mono seat cowl, a gauge cluster aero-cover and drag0style handlebars.

The rest of the range hasn’t been forgotten, with each of the models having received their fair share in new amenities, from new colors to riding aids and other tech features.

The Spyder F3-S was fitted a new SPORT mode that sharpens the ride and also deactivates the traction control system while still maintaining vehicle stability. This translates to tire-shredding controlled drifts, and the model is also available in flashy new colors - Oxford Blue Metallic, Circuit Yellow, and Pure Magnesium Metallic.

Moving to the Spyder RT-S and RT Limitdare, these two gain two colors (Champagne Metallic and Pearl White), chrome-finished 12-spoke rims, electrically-adjustable windscreen, a Garmin Zumo 590 GPS system, premium saddle/backrest, more luggage space and even an active rear air-suspension.

Finally, the F3-Trange can be had in White Pearl or Monolith Black exterior finishes along with more comfort features for long rides. These include a Dynamic Power Steering system, ECO mode, cruise control, four-speaker audio system, two side-cases providing 78-liters of storage space and a manually-adjustable rear air-suspension.

Power for all models is provided by the same liquid-cooled inline-3 engine that develops 115 hp (117 PS) at 7,250 rpm and 96 lb-ft (130 Nm) at 5,000 rpm. Prices haven’t been disclosed as they depend on country and region but do check with your local Can-Am dealership and request a quote.
