Camel Spotted in Russian Traffic

We would have understood somewhat if a camel was spotted in Saudi Arabia or Iran, but this is clearly some sort of ex-soviet country, looking at those pipes that go over the road instead of under it.
Obviously, you wouldn’t believe a Russian who said he saw a camel on the road while he was returning from work one afternoon - the national alcohol consumption level is too high. But this camel spotting is legitimate and has been captured by a dashboard camera.

This animal clearly escaped from the Zoo, and looks like a baby version of the two-humped bactian camel you see in the Mongolian desert. How it got involved in Russian traffic is beyond us, but this is a spectacle we’ll never forget, like that ostrich in the street. It's a Zoo out there!
