Camel Races Along Highway in Dubai

Why did the camel cross the road? We don’t know but one thing is for sure, we have a whole bunch of animals in places where they shouldn’t be: dogs, cats, moose, and deer, they’ve all become participants in traffic in some corner of the world.
But until today, we’ve never seen a camel. However, Dubai and indeed the United Arab Emirates are crazy about their four-legged humped pack animals. They even use them for racing, and we’ve heard rumors of prized examples trading for millions.

This one escape from the nearby Dubai Marina and onto a motorway in Dubai. Oddly, it’s keeping to its lane at a nice galloping speed. Still, an adult can stand at 2.15 m (7 ft 1 inches) at the hump and can weigh 400 kg (900 lb) or more.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
