Earlier this week, a report coming from Car Buzz said Callaway has green-lighted the AeroWagon Package for the 2014 Corvette Stingray and that it will be marketed with a price increased from the previously-announced $15,000 to $22,995.
It seems this piece of information was wrong, but Callaway Cars contacted us to straighten things out and drop a few more details on the company’s upcoming supercharged Corvette. According to the Connecticut-based specialist, the AeroWagon Package will indeed cost $15,000 when fitted to a stock Corvette, plus an extra $1,500 for matching body color paint. The $22,995 tag is reserved for the 2014 Callaway Corvette and doesn’t include the $51,995 base car.
Speaking of the C7-based Callaway, for the aforementioned price customers will get a supercharged engine, intake system exhaust system, upgraded fuel system, exterior and interior badging, floor mats, door sill panels, personalized authenticity documentation, and many more.
Both the 2014 Callaway Corvette and the AeroWagon Package will become available in January, the company added.
