Would you be able to keep cool if you noticed your four-wheeled love (or two-wheeled, for that matter) had been taken for a joyride by the mechanics who were supposed to take care of her?
As it turns out, despite all the surveillance equipment present these days, the question above remains legitimate and we've got the latest story of the kind for you, one that involves a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro SS.

The onwer of the muscle car decided his Chevy needed a tranny and diff fluid change after having gone for a track day experience. It's worth noting the Camaro only had 4,000 miles on the odo.

After being displeased with the costs delivered by the dealer, the Redditor chose to go for a private shop.

Alas, despite having done his research before choosing his servicing location, the man's post-servicing collection experience turned into a bit of a nightmare - that's what happens when you find your car in the middle of the parking lot, with the windows rolled down and the key thrown on the floor.

The said scenario convinced the owner to check out the dashcam footage upon collecting the car. Much to his surprise, neither the presence of the camera, nor the sticker announcing the audio-recording side of the device were able to prevent the mechanics from dipping into the muscle of the Corvette-borrowed V8 under the hood. And the hooning took place on at least two separate occasions.

The owner seems to have kept a decent attitude, as his Reddit explanation of the incident comes to confirm: "So, I understand driving the car around the block, of course, but to go full throttle/redline (on an engine not given time to warm) on every straight, going so fast and probably nearly double the speed limit, is completely unprofessional and negligent,"

The guy reportedly got a refund after questioning the quality of the work that had been done to his car, a natural reaction on his side given the attitude shown by the servicing personnel.

While the Camaro owner didn't want to disclose the name of the shop and even went as far as blurring certain parts of the video for this, fellow Redditors still couldn't help themselves and delivered the Google Maps details for the parking lot that houses the place - you shouldn't rush to conclusions, though, as the parking appears to house multiple shops.
