We've got fancy pictures from the 3-day test session Ducati had in Valencia.
The last outing of the year saw Cal Crutchlow and Gigi Dall'Igna at their first real-life encounter with their new team.

Ducati and Crutchlow have not been pushing for lap times, as the Valencia test was dedicated more to getting the new guys acquainted with the new motorcycle and the team and becoming more familiar with the way Ducati Corse machinery and boxes work.

Dall'Igna is out to try and restore the former glory Ducati enjoyed in the past, and for this he must be able to understand everything: the bike, with its good and bad points, the team and the riders and then build a strategy for 2014.

It is already too late for a new bike, and he knows he has to make the best from the GP14 prototype as it is, with more help from Dovizioso and Crutchlow, Iannone and Hernandez.

He's got about six months to make a call and decide whether the actual bike can be transformed into a first class one or it will be ditched in favor of a completely new one.

As for Cructhlow, we can only speculate that he realizes that the podiums he got with Yamaha in 2013 are now a really long shot, unless Gigi Dall'Igna is the Wizard of Oz. Or Gandalf.
