Luxury car manufacturer Cadillac has announced the introduction of a special edition version of its 2014 ATS sedan.
Dubbed ATS Crimson, the new model features a number of aerodynamic enhancements, an exclusive exterior color color and minor interior upgrades.

Specifically, the sedan comes in a unique Crimson Red Metallic exterior color and sports a Cadillac Accessories body kit that includes a front fascia lower air splitter, a rear diffuser and profile aero rocker moldings.

The aerodynamic look is completed by an aero decklid spoiler, while a set of 18-inch forged-aluminum wheels with a Dark Silver finish provide a pleasant contrast with the Crimson Red body.

Interior modifications are limited to a suede-wrapped steering wheel, with the same microfiber being draped over the shifter as well. The model can be ordered with one of four interior colors: Morello Red with Jet Black accents, Caramel with Jet Black accents, Jet Black with Jet Black accents or Light Platinum with Jet Black accents.

Under the hood, the 2014 ATS Crimson special edition can be fitted with two engines - the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and the 3.6-liter V6. The first one generates 272 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, while the latter is rated at 321 hp and 275 lb-ft.

The special edition ATS will arrive in dealerships in early spring according to GM, which means it should become available in a few weeks.

The limited-edition package costs from $46,010 with the 2.0-liter engine and starts at $51,010 with the 3.6-liter V6.

As a brief reminder, the 2014 Cadillac ATS starts from $33,900. The base model is fitted with a naturally-aspirated 2.5-liter engine (202 hp/191 lb-ft) and rear-wheel drive.
