GM hasn't fallen so low as to photoshop all of its press photos, but that still doesn't mean we can't enjoy a real life video of one of their cars and see something new.
Case in point, this Cadillac Elmiraj Concept which made its debut at Pebble Beach. The company said it might put it into production with very limited changes.

Besides being a drop-dead gorgeous car, the Elmiraj also has a really cool powertrain. No, not a hybrid, but a new twin-turbo 4.5-liter V8 engine rated at 500 HP and 500 pound-feet of torque. That sounds like something we'd want to se replacing the current aspirated V8s out there.

Cadillac's new marketing strategists have decided already that the CTS coupe and wagon as we knew theme are no longer viable. Instead, they're going to do something bespoke, and the Elmiraj could be it. Think of it as being to the 2014 CTS what the BMW 6 Series is to the 5er.

Looking at the concept, it's hard not to fall in love with those sculpted seats with wood backs. How much of that will go into the production car remains to be seen.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
