The CTS-V coupe is about as sporty as a Cadillac gets nowadays, and so it’s the perfect ambassador to represent the American brand on its journey across the world. However, one factor has impeded the beast from setting foot in the UK, and that is the absence of right-hand drive.
That is, until know... or soon... from now. According to AutoCar, the Cadillac CTS-V will have its steering wheel shifted to the right, and even though we don’t have an official timeframe, this will likely coincide with the launch of the ATS.
GM’s marketing chief Joel Ewanick told the aforementioned source that the CTS-V was a “car designed for Europe, but one we haven’t treated seriously in Europe”.
It seems that bankruptcy has changed the way GM works, because he says that Cadillac’s commitment in Europe is “signed in blood.”
