Cadillac as a company has made it its goal to challenge BMW at everything the Bavarians are god at. This includes making a lighter compact sedan to rival the 3-Series and a few years ago, a sports saloon/coupe to challenge BMW’s mighty M5.
The holy grail of American automotive might came in the form of the CTS-V, a 564 horsepower rear-wheel drive machine which could lap the Nurburgring in 7 minutes 59 seconds. The time set in 2009 is still faster than the new BMW M5 has been able to achieve.
But it seems that’s not the only thing the CTS can do. Its mighty 6.2-liter V8 engine has all the might needed to spin the rear tires until they are gone in a pile of smoke and rubber bits. Despite weighing almost 2 tons, the CTS-V captured by BrainZuk is as graceful as a Corvette.
