Word has it the new Cadillac ATS-V will hit the streets with the company’s twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 engine under the hood.
According to Car and Driver, the performance version of the ATS will boast 420 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque, just like the CTS, thanks to Cadillac’s twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 unit, while a manual transmission will become available as an option.
Little else is known about the Cadillac ATS-V and the launch date for this vehicle seems to be a very well guarded secret for the time being.
We do know, however, that the ATS Coupe is scheduled to be introduced next year as a 2015 model. The BMW 4 Series rival will probably be motivated by turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and 3.6-liter V6 engines.
