Cadillac has made a lot of bold claims about the upcoming ATS, so the vehicle has to live up to a reputation even before it’s launched. The fact that it is a competitor of the new BMW 3-Series alone makes its mission difficult and fortunately, we don’t have to wait so long in order to get a taste of it.
Cadillac will unveil the ATS on January 8, one night before the Detroit Auto Show press days kick off, as Detroit Free Press writes. The luxury compact sedan will be shown to the world at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, a school that has previously received a $145 million donation from General Motors.
The ATS, which will open new pathways for Cadillac, will reach showrooms across the US next summer.
