A few days ago we've reported that Shanghai GM is prepping a stretched version of the ATS mid-size luxury sedan. At last, the China-only model was spotted by the carparazzi without a bit of camouflage on it.
Styling-wise, it's the usual treats with a twist. The 10 centimeters of extra wheelbase length had an effect on the design of the vehicle. Specifically, the rear passenger doors and side windows are a tad longer than the ones on the normal ATS, which sports a 2,775 millimeters wheelbase, while the roof-line is slightly elongated behind the B-pillars.

Just like the recently spied Stateside version of the facelifted 2015 Cadillac ATS, the Chinese ATS-L features the same one piece lower radiator grille dominated by a horizontal bar of polished chrome. However, the Oriental brother of the sedan doesn't adopt the all-new wreathless Cadillac logo like its sibling from the United States.

Even though it's not official yet, we presume that engine options for the Cadillac ATS-L will come in the form of an entry-level 2.5-liter mill with 200 horsepower, an all-new 2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder generating 272 horsepower, as well as a 3.6-liter V6 with 321 horsepower on tap.

The Detroit manufacturer's new long wheelbase entry will arrive in Chinese dealerships this summer, sporting an estimated price tag of 270,000 yuans (circa $43,000 at current exchange rates).
