What would you expect if somebody told you they now wear the Cadillac logo on their forearm? Most people would probably think of a tattoo, but today we're here to show you something different.
As you can see above, one Cadillac driver got himself a rather... special example of brand image. The man describes his experience on Reddit, explaining the circumstances that led to this temporary tattoo.
The man was driving his Cadillac CTS on Sunday, March 22 when he crashed, with the car being totaled. His message? A pretty straightforward one - "Cadillac airbag saved my life, made sure I remember that."
It's obvious the guy was not using the recommended "9:15" hands position. In fact, he confirms that he was holding the lower extremity of the wheel with the now-branded hand and the airbag deployment launched the wheel cover towards his forearm.
His CTS went through quite a situation, as the car spun out, hitting a tree and then a telephone pole. As for what caused the terrible situation, the driver explains the rear wheel assembly on the driver's side came off the car. In fact, we can even see this in one of the adjacent images.
Given this, it's pretty strange how the man says he would like to drive another Cadillac - alas, the sedan was totaled in the crash and the insurance payout was below the actual price of the car. As in many other cases, the fair market value the insurance pays is not all that fair.
Still, it appears we are dealing with yet another die-hard brand enthusiast here. This is just as worthy of raising an eyebrow as the Dacia employee who tattooed the low-cost brand's logo on his forearm.
