Caddy Van Gets Mk6 Golf R and Mk7 GTI Body Kits, Looks Rad 21 photos

We show you renderings of GTI vans all the time, but every so often, somebody goes ahead and builds one. Such is the case with these two VW Caddy vans made by a UK company called Reflex Auto Design.
They are an accident repair center, specialized in bringing German cars back to life. Every so often, these guys also make them better than new, show stoppers in the true sense.

The Caddy R is obviously the oldest of the two since it's got a complete body kit from the previous generation of Golf R. It's not simply a case of taking a bumper and installing it, as the Caddy has very different dimensions to the Golf.

Yet the R transformation is done without a single panel gap looking wrong. Since this is a show car, they did away with the front number plate, which draws even more attention to the large black grilles.

Around the back, the Caddy has a particular kind of bumper that's inspired by the Mk6 Golf R and a matching set of twin exhaust pipes. If you're wondering, know that the engine has not been swapped, and we are dealing with a TDI, probably of the 2.0 variety.

The exhaust is from Milltek Sport and the carbon fiber airbox and new software come from Revo. For the wheels, they went with BBS's multi-spoke design, which most people associate with the R. Part of the interior also received R-Line pannels, which is not surprising at all.

This year, Reflex and Dokka collaborated on yet another Caddy, and this time, they went with the Mk7 Golf GTI, which came out in 2013. Its front bumper has also been grafted onto the nose of the Caddy. Custom graphics give it an urban camouflage look, but there is no trick exhaust, just some Porsche 911 wheels.
