C8 Chevy Corvette Z06 Four-Door Sedan Imagines a Chevy SS Return, Perhaps As EV

With eight generations under its belt and one stellar 180-degree conceptual turnaround, Chevrolet’s Corvette is so much more than just an automotive world’s legend. It has so many facets of its personality that we might need an entire lifetime to discuss them all.

So, let’s be specific and transcend the boundaries of reality for a dip across what some refer to as “imagination land.” There, all sorts of different Corvette incarnations dwell around. Some are spectacularly mid-engine unbelievable, such as that one time when a C8 morphed into a family station wagon.

Others keep within logical boundaries, and just chose to stretch the perspective a little into a Sports Sedan. It seems the idea of a four-door Corvette bodes well for pixel masters these days. Thus, here is the virtual artist better known as SRK Designs on social media also bringing us the vision of a hypothetical Chevrolet Corvette 4-Door Sedan Concept.

This one has no vintage flavor at all since it is directly based on the latest track-focused, record-breaking V8 kid on the block. Logically, that would be Chevrolet’s 2023 C8 Z06, now with its wide-body also stretched to accommodate an additional pair of doors, seats, and more interior space. That might be fun: sharing a racetrack or dragstrip experience with more than one person! But how about the “little” high-revving FPC (flat-plane crankshaft) mid-engine detail?

Well, this time around, there is a virtual solution.
