Two major changes have taken place in recent years when it comes to aftermarket car colors. First of all, the price of an individualistic, exclusive paint job has remained at a sky high level. Second of all, the birth of high-quality vinyl wrapping has taken the aftermarket tuning world by storm.
While vinyl wraps used to replicate only a handful of real and also expensive paint jobs, nowadays you can have almost any color you want or imagine on your car without paying top dollar for the paint pigments.
This is the case with the following matte metallic blue color, which looks somewhat similar to the BMW “Frozen” line of highly expensive and model exclusive paints.
A Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG owner probably got fed up with his car's original color and at the same time fell in love with the aforementioned blue. Cause and effect. The problem of finding a decently-priced shop to paint his car in this exact shade is probably without solution, though.
Fortunately, ditching the paint idea brought him to Restyle It, a Canadian vinyl wrap specialist shop which we've featured before. The following video is one of their latest projects and we can't help but applaud the result, since the C63 AMG looks like it's been parked at the North Pole. Check out the walk-around video of the car below and tell us what you think.
