Despite Mercedes-Benz having let pretty much everyone assume that the station wagon of the all-new C-Class W205 was to be launched at this year's Geneva Motor show, it seems that the Germans have other plans with the model.
As you can see in the following spy video, shot by our friends at TouriClips, Mercedes-Benz is in no hurry to strip more camouflage from their C-Class Wagon S205 (T-Modell or Estate in certain countries) pre-production prototypes.

The footage shows a white model with a decent amount of body armor on the parts that need to be hidden from plain view, despite us knowing how the rear of the car looks like since last year, when it was caught completely undisguised by one of the spy photographers which we collaborate with.

It is expected that the station wagon variant of the new C-Class will feature the exact same engine lineup as the sedan, meaning that you will be able to choose from a fuel-sipping four-cylinder diesel made in collaboration with Renault to a four-liter twin-turbocharged V8 in the C 63 AMG Wagon version.

Even though Mercedes-Benz appears to have already started a limited production of the model if your eyes didn't deceive us, it seems that the C-Class Wagon S205 will be unveiled outside of a major auto show, with our best bet being the next couple of months.

Considering that this is a family car, the squealing of the tires in those tight Nurburgring Nordschleife turns is a bit amusing, but it's also nice to know that the model gets a chassis that has been honed on one of the most demanding racing tracks on the planet.

Keep in touch for more information of the new premium grocery-getter as we receive it, especially since we have a hunch that a major leak is about to hit the Internet in the upcoming weeks.
