With less than a week until the fourth generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is officially unveiled, more and more details about it have started to emerge.
As we were expecting all along, the new C-Class W205 will be the most technologically-advanced model in its segment, with a number of features taken straight out of the recently-launched flagship of the Mercedes-Benz lineup – the S-Class W222.

Apart from finally offering a head-up display system and being the first car in its segment to offer an electronically-controlled air suspension, it seems that the upcoming C-Class will also feature a city autonomous driving function called “Stop & Go Pilot”, also borrowed from its bigger brother, the S-Class.

In stop and go traffic, the system will allow the car to brake, accelerate and remain in its lane with absolutely no human input thus allowing its driver to concentrate on shaving or having breakfast on its way to work in the morning, for example.

We can't wait for the day when your Mercedes-Benz will even do your cooking and cleaning while it drives you to your appointments. Bad jokes aside, the new C-Class is shaping up to be a technological wonder that BMW and Audi are only dreaming about with their current 3-Series and A4 models.
