The recently-launched Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Edition 507 is currently the second most hardcore production C 63 AMG, with just a tiny bit of less steroids injected into it compared with the Black Series.
The model has a lot of similarities but also differences when put against its slightly more insane Black Series brother though.

The similarities are both cosmetic and technical, with both models sharing the evil-looking vented engine hood and parts of their epic M156 engines – which are closely-related with the M159 from the modern Gullwing, the SLS AMG.

There are differences as well, with the Edition 507 being slightly more drivable, but first and foremost more available, since unlike the Black Series it is available in coupe, sedan and even station wagon form.

The 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated V8 under that vented hood is good for... you guessed it! 507 hp (500 bhp) and 610 Nm (450 lb ft) of torque, more than enough grunt to make its driver sweat on the twisties.

Auto Express had a go in the RHD sedan version of the Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Edition 507 and had some rather interesting stories to tell about the car afterwards.
