By July, We Should Learn All About UFOs Visiting America

So, you are a big honcho in charge of a big nation, and a massive piece of legislation arrives on your desk for you to sign into law. Chances are you, as the biggest honcho, will not have to read it, as your minions have already been through it. But what if they missed something?

Back in December, Congress passed and Donald Trump signed a massive $2.3 trillion bill targeting, among others, coronavirus relief and government funding. But tucked in there somewhere was a provision giving U.S. intelligence agencies about six months to come up with a comprehensive report about UFOs.

We don’t know what went on here, whether this somehow got through unnoticed or on purpose, but the reality is one of the most sensitive topics for American intelligence agencies will have to be debated in full by the middle of the year, unclassified and in front of Congress.

According to CNN, the stipulation was included in the "committee comment" section of the Intelligence Authorization Act for the new fiscal year. It gives agencies 180 days to submit a detailed report on UFOs, complete with analysis and threat assessment, including an analysis on whether America’s Earth-based enemies are behind the phenomenon.

Some of the agencies involved are the Office of Naval Intelligence, the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force, and the FBI, according to the source. Whatever they come up with will be unclassified, but a classified annex will be allowed.

Back in 2019, the biggest story in years on the UFO front broke. Soon after the U.S. Navy updated its procedures on UFO reporting by its pilots, two of them came forward and detailed encounters they had in 2014 and 2015. Shortly after that, videos posted by Blink 182 Tom DeLonge’s To the Stars Academy of Arts and Sciences organization and showing UFO giving pilots the scares were confirmed as being authentic by the Navy.

So, grab your popcorn, we’re in for a very sci-fi summer.
