Specialist BMW tuner AC Schnitzer has shown various customization projects based on the X6 model since it was launched. However, for this year’s Essen Motor Show, they’ve unveiled the complete line of goodies. If you like to look all day at fender flares or cars with dozens of badges, you are going to love the X6 Falcon.
We think the photo gallery they’ve put together is just fantastic because it lets you see every individual add-on separately from the car. Only this way can you really tell that the bumper is new, and you can also buy flares for it, for example. Or you may want to check out how many components it takes to make the rear fender inserts because the doors are close to the wheels.

That said, AC Schnitzer’s package is not for everybody. The Mk2 X6 is designed with more discreet lines than its predecessor. So many folks will be put off by the 22-inch wheels or the carbon fiber bolt-on wing. Worst of all, the company offers old-school mesh vents for the hood.

They call it Falcon, but it’s more like a peacock or the funky chicken!

Anyway, hardware changes are also being presented. If you don’t need the extra ground clearance, the X6 can be gifted with new springs that lower the car 15mm at the front and 20mm at the rear. New exhaust systems are also offered, but we don’t particularly like the one they are showing right now.

Interior upgrades are also available, but your money is best spent on one of the many power packs available. AC Schnitzer worked hard to give every model in the X6 range more power as follows:
  • 30d from 258 PS to 309 PS
  • 40d from 313 PS to 360 PS
  • 35i from 306 PS to 360 PS
  • 50i from 450 PS to 525 PS
  • X6 M from 575 PS to 650 PS
Of, and in case you’re curious what they can do with the engine from the M50d, just check out this 1 Series.
