Buy a Truck, Get a Free AK-47

The lengths some will go to for money... Unfortunately, there is no typo, nor a scam in the title you read above. A Missouri truck dealer has found a very unconventional, dangerous way to sell "100 trucks more this year", he says. To whomever buys a truck from his dealership, Mark Muller offers a voucher with which he/she can go to his/her local gun dealer and buy a $450-$500 worth AK-47...

Muller is not at his first attempt to put the gun where the truck is. He says last year he gave away a handgun in a similar sales incentive, a move which increased his sales by around 35 vehicles.

How will he tell good guys from the bad ones? "Felons buy cars too," he says. Here's where the voucher comes in, because, you know, you can't buy a gun from a dealer if you have the proverbial mile-long rap sheet...

When asked if he thinks his actions are a bit irresponsible, given the AK-47 is a 600 rounds/minute assault rifle, Muller had this to say:

"How 'bout that guy that just had him and his wife killed, that had the 12 children? With the seven guys comin' through the door...? I'd guarantee ya', he wishes he had an AK-47 as those... as those maggots busted through his door and slaughtered him and his wife in front of his children..."

And he goes on, and on, and on... The video, a CNN interview which we present below, is a bit long, but we guarantee is worth every single second of it.

Needless to say, we're all behind crisis struck dealers, who now have to fight for their survival, but by God, they don't use guns to promote their vehicles... Even if, for some, it may be a "watch and learn" type of affair.

What if the real-life replica of Ahmed the Terrorist comes along? No rap sheet, 10+ family members, wants to buy 10 trucks? Or worse, a 16 year-old Columbine massacre fan?

Our take? GM, Chrysler, pay attention! How did he and his Max Motor dealership escape your restructuring?

For the sake of fair play, here's Max Motor's web site, AK-47 included and all. Flood it! And beware trucks wearing Max Motors bumper stickers...
