Buy a Corvette, Learn to Drive It for Free

When buying a sports car, you may feel that at times you're in for more than you bargained for. This is why most of the manufacturers who roll off their assembly lines such cars have very good driving instructors and driving schools nearby to teach the noobies with a lot of money how to use their new toys.

Corvette is one of those manufacturers, one who decided this week to treat its customers with a little extra. Should you buy a new Corvette by February 28, you will get a free two-day tuition (three days for ZR1 buyers) at either of the two official Corvette driving schools: Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving and Ron Fellows Performance Driving School.

The offer comes like a God sent gift for the marques fans that until now were eligible for the driving schools only if they bought Corvette ZR1. Now, even if you go for a Coupe, Convertible, Grand Sport or Z06, you'll still get the chance to get some proper driver training.

“This special offer extends an exclusive piece of the Corvette driving experience to new owners,” said Jim Campbell, US vice president of performance vehicles and motorsports. “Corvette owners have experiences open to them unlike any others, from touring the plant and National Corvette Museum, to advanced driver training, and even building their own engine.”

Corvette says you can go and take some driving lessons anytime you like, provided you do so in the first year following the purchase of the model.
