“There are so many changes aerodynamically with the car, and with the KERS also, and the slick tyres, they will need a lot of feedback from us. And having a new boy in the car, I don't feel that you get as much feedback. But it is not my decision,” said Button earlier this weekend.
The Brit didn't have a very good season in 2007, failing to score points in all races except for one, the Spanish Grand Prix (when he finished the race in 6th place). He tells the truth, which is always good in a teammate, and he has put in some very good performances,” added Button. With an under-developed car and every member of the team focusing solely on the RA 109 for next year, Rubens podium in Great Britain indeed seems more valuable than ever.
However, Honda will test some very promising ex-GP2 drivers next week, Bruno Senna and Lucas di Grassi, before making their final decision on next year's lineup.
