What’s the first thing you do when you sell your telephone conferencing business for £28 million ($42,5 million)? Order a personalized Ferrari LaFerrari, of course. And since you already have a McLaren P1 there’s one more thing you really need to do: buy a Porsche 918 Spyder. Bang, perfect combo!
It’s the story of a British businessman who recently made his humble compatriots have their jaw drop as he’d drive around the country from one dealership to the other to complete a perfect combo: the world’s leading hybrid supercars. He began his venture jumping in a McLaren P1 along his wife and driving 35 miles from his home to a Ferrari dealership in Nottingham.

There he’d pass the car to his wife and get at the wheel of Ferrari’s one of only 499 limited production supercars, a beauty the rich fellow has been waiting for about two years to be ready. The two then drove for what had to be a quite satisfying 100 miles to reach a Porsche dealership in Cambridge. Here, of course, he’d collect the missing piece of his band the 918 Spyder.

Apart from the fact this man owns a £3 million worth car fleet that combines three of the most popular hybrid beasts currently on the market (to be precise, all the units have ran out, so they’re not really on the market anymore), reports are he’s not about to hide them in a secret underground garage. No, it’s said Paul Bailey is about to drive their rims off and have some other car enthusiast get a taste of driving supercars while at it.

He even managed to raise about £20,000 from people who bought £1 tickets in a hope to win a go in his P1. The proceeds will go to charity, of course, this way haters will be kept away from hunting the man down.

Talking about 1st world problems and such...
