Bus Driver Goes Ballistic Against Passenger: Gory Video

What you are about to read here is a short behavioral guide for tourists who go to Romania and decide to try out the the capital's public transport service. Because, as you will see in the video below, buying a ticket is apparently not enough...

It all happened in a cold, very snowy Friday in February, on a bus which takes passengers from the outskirts of Bucharest and usually dumps them in the surrounding villages.

According to the people in the bus, the driver was paying attention to just about anything EXCEPT driving, as he was talking on the phone, singing and even dancing.

With one eye on the driver and the other on the snowy and slippery road outside, one of the women in the bus decided to go up to the driver and tell him, nicely, to pay more attention to how he's driving and give less thought to his singing career.

Of course, the driver wanted to have nothing with the woman and her opinion about his singing, so he sent her back to her origins/seat. This outraged a 50 year old man also traveling on the bus, and who went to the driver to have his say.

He only managed to get only one sentence or so out before the driver stopped the bus, got off his seat and literally jumped the passenger. Before doing so, the driver conveniently opened the doors to the bus, so he could more easily throw the passenger out...

Once out, snowflakes and fists began pouring on the passenger's head...

Somewhat oblivious to what had happened to him, the passenger tried to get back on the bus, as he might have thought the short yet intense fight had calmed the driver down. Wrong... The passenger was again kicked off the bus and left there, in the middle of nowhere, with only his bag, the snowflakes and a bitter recollection of the driver from hell (or RATB).

According to Mihai Vladarau, spokesman for the Romanian capital's public transport company, RATB, the driver of the bus has been identified and, after the conclusion of the investigation, fired.

Back to our behavioral guide, there's really only one piece of advice we can give you: mind your own business. Even if the bus is driving upside down, or sideways, or even if the driver keeps his eyes closed; 'cause if you don't, he will beat you, while the others film the scene (and then post it on the Internet).

PS. Don't forget to buy a ticket. Passengers found without will be beheaded.
