First of all, if you never heard of Bullit, the Belgium-based company makes stylish retro-looking small-displacements motorcycles that are quite popular in the UK and France alike. They are also kinda cheap, simple and really fun to ride.

As the manufacturer says “Bullit Motorcycles take their inspiration from classic British designs. Combining this legendary style with modern technology makes using a Bullit motorcycle a pleasure on every single ride.”

The newest addition to the range is the Hero 125 Scrambler which will be available early 2017. One of the dealerships selling it says it will be officially unveiled at the end of January. Until then, we only have this photo and some technical details.

First of all, I must say this looks like a proper scrambler. It rides high, it’s compact, has a raised exhaust, a bash plate, wire wheels and decent tires. All of which is offered for around £2,400 (about $2,900).

Power is provided by a fuel-injected air-cooled single-cylinder engine displacing 124 ccs. This can develop up to 11.5 HP at 9,500 rpm and is bolted together with a 5-speed transmission.

Despite the low price, the Hero 125 Scrambler comes with a 43 mm USD fork, wavy disc brakes front and back, and electric starter. The bike tips the scales at 119 kg (262 lb) dry and the fuel tank can hold 10.6 liters (2.8 gal), and I’m pretty sure that will last for 300 km (186 mi).

The manufacturer also claims the Hero 125 is offered with many optional features and is Euro 4 emission regulations compliant.

As you can imagine, these little bikes are built in a smaller number than the big players in the segment, so you should check out with your dealership fast and place a pre-order.
