At this point, you're probably asking yourself "how can a Ford sedan do burnouts?" Clearly, the truck driver must have gotten the wrong guy. Well, no, because this is Australia, and the Aussies have special kinds of Fords there.
Australians are well-known for their love of very powerful utes (that's short for "utilitarian vehicle" in Australia, and since it sounds so good, it might have spread in other parts of the world as well), but they won't say no to a performance sedan either. That's why the Falcon, the sedan Ford has been building in Australia since 1960, has had its sportier versions over the years. As you'd expect, the older versions became teenagers' favorites, and some of them even had parents crazy enough to allow them to buy one.

Well, we have no backstory on what's happening in this video, but we'd be willing to have a guess. So, some young guy decided to have a bit of fun (not the skid marks) with his car, and he was also considerate enough take his shenanigans out of town. Little did he know that by choosing this remote road, he was actually picking a worse place than the main street.

It turns out that road was where local kids went to ride their bikes and horses (yes, horses), and even though there were no kids, bikes, or horses in sight, the alarm still rang. Just like old Indians would react to someone trespassing on their sacred burial grounds, the local community dispatched an enforcer to deal with the situation.

The camera car - which is reportedly a Toyota Land Cruiser - makes a left-hand turn and ends up face to face with the perpetrator. It's a yellow Ford sedan, and its color is more suited than he would have imagined because he immediately starts reversing. Well, not before the Land Cruiser gave him a little nudge, actually.

It all then turns into a cat and mouse type of encounter, with the mouse managing to make a run for it, but only after tasting the SUV's bull bar once again. The video description claims the Ford had stolen plates on it. On the other hand, it also claims it was the sedan who hit first, so it's not exactly to be trusted.

Anyway, what we should all take from this video is to think twice before doing burnouts on public streets. But while that is a road offense, hitting somebody with a car on purpose is a crime and might land you in jail. So maybe instead of finally giving that bull bar a meaning in life, you'd be better off calling the police.
