In the world of custom builds, cab-over-engine trucks occupy a special place. The breed, born at the turn of the 20th century, gave birth over the years to machines so exciting some garages across the U.S. can’t resist.
At the beginning of the month, we told you a thing or two about the Snowpiercer-like 1951 Ford COE customized so heavily that it seems to have been made specifically for a science-fiction story. But not even that build can match the extreme COE we have for you today.

Officially based on a 1948 Ford F6 hauler, the Tangelo Orange Pearl build is offered for an impressive sum not alone, but together with a custom (and matching colors) Harley-Davidson custom bike of the Big Dog chopper variety.

We’re not sure if the two were made from the get go to be a single item, but somehow found themselves one on top of the other in a shop in the business of selling incredible machines. And these guys thought it would be a great idea to sell them as one, with an asking price of $234,000.

“This outrageous 2006 Big Dog Custom Chopper was part of the Maxwell Family Collection proudly perched on the back of our 1948 Ford COE Custom Hauler,” the seller says. “We now offer them for sale as a package.”

For that big pile of cash, the buyer will get a truck powered by a 500ci (8.2-liter) engine linked to a 6-speed automatic transmission, and enough room in the back to comfortably hold the 117ci S&S V-twin-powered Harley.

As per the sales ad, the odometer on the truck shows 1,865 miles, while the motorcycle, being perched on top of the truck for quite some time, just 500 miles.

Both are wrapped in an equally eye-popping orange paint, a color that extends in the case of the truck (with some black accents) to the interior as well.
