As a car enthusiast, buying yourself scale model cars is a common hobby - you don’t have enough cash for the real cars you want, so you start building up you own scale dream garage hoping that one day it will become true.
Friends will come over and admire your dioramas along with those expensive diecast models you got. But at some point you might get bored with simply ordering miniature cars online, receiving them at home and simply showcasing them on the shelf.
If you reach this step, there’s one more thing left to do - build your own scale models. Of course, this means you need access to a lot of specialized tools, like a smelter for doing the bodies, finesse tools, sheet metal stamp machines and many other things.
So, before signing a huge check to purchase all of those, why not starting with something easier - LEGO models. And we’re especially referring at LEGO Technic here, because this one comes with a lot of interconnecting rods and parts which enables you to create complex structures and shapes.
Just get some Technic sets and try to replicate the real shapes of the car using the small bits. The final result, as you can see in these photos here showing a Toyota TS020, will look like it came out of an 8-bit video game, but you’ll be proudly presenting it to others as your own creation.
