Buick is jumping aboard the SUV bandwagon with this, an all-new model that will slot between the Envision and Enclave. It's seen undergoing testing with a lot less camouflage than last year's sightings, suggesting a debut in early 2020 is likely.
Buick finds itself a few models short, after dumping the slow-selling Cascada convertible and LaCrosse flagship seda. The Regal sedan is still around, at least for a couple of years, but Buick dealerships will probably be happier with this money-maker.

The model is smaller than the Enclave, but not by much. It rides on the short-wheelbase version of the C1 platform, which is shared with the Chevy Blazer and GMC Acadia, which should give you an idea of its size.

The styling is quite sporty too, with a front end defined by narrow headlights and an imposing grille. It's quite similar to the Blazer in that regard, making us wonder if this is the reason for the "Agile" nameplate trademark. You can also add "Envoy" to the list of possible, recently trademarked names. Then again, it could also be a fresh Buick Envision, which is now a 5-year-old design.

Another possibility would be that this is a production version of the Buick Enspire Concept, which was quite well received. It had a very similar narrow headlight design. The concept was all-electric, with 550 horsepower, but a production version was announced for the Lansing factory in Michigan.

Engine-wise, this bad boy should share its gear with the Blazer and Acadia. That means a 2.5-liter base engine with 193 horsepower or a 3.6-liter V6 making 310 horsepower. A turbo is also possible, but a bit less likely.

Given the layout of the current range, we expect a base price for this 3-row model somewhere in the region of $37,000. Detroit Auto, here we come!
