Buick recently announced that it is offering the Pandora Internet radio services as a standard features across its vehicle range, with this being integrated with the carmaker’s new IntelliLink infotainment system.
The first Buick vehicles that will introduce the system are the 2012 Buick Verano, Regal and LaCrosse, with the Enclave following in 2013.
The feature, which connects to a smartphone using USB or Bluetooth, will allow drivers to access and browse their pre-selected Pandora stations. There are three ways of doing that - you can use the touch-screen display of the radio, the dedicated steering wheel buttons and the voice-activated commands.
Ford is also upgrading its Sync interface, with this now being capable of reading messages out aloud for drivers, with the new goodies being offered as standard on the upcoming 2012 range and as an upgrade for current owners.
