If we were to believe all the press releases the companies send our way each and every single day, the reports we write would paint a completely different image on our website. One of these overhyped releases was the one from Buick that we received earlier, talking about a model that has a wide variety of enhancements all around.
What we have here then, ladies and gentlemen, is the 2016 Buick Enclave Tuscan Edition that will be making its world debut at the New York Auto Show. According to the company, it was named after Tuscany, Italy because that’s where the Renaissance began. As the Enclave marked a new beginning for Buick as well, we now have this special model named after a region in central Italy.
The crossover is now sporting a couple of different styling bits and pieces that do make it stand out from the crowd but only if you know the model very well. They include the new bronze-tone grille and 20” wheels with accents in the same color.
On the outside, the special edition gets only three colors to choose from, White Frost Tricoat, Dark Chocolate Metallic and Ebony Twilight Metallic. You can also get an optional AWD system to go with the exclusive 3.6-liter V6 petrol engine that’s good for 288 BHP and 270 lb-ft (366 Nm) of torque.
Other items available on the 2016 Buick Enclave Tuscan Edition include a power moonroof, heated steering wheel with wood trims, LED ambient lights, 8-way powered adjustable seats for the front occupants, power-tilting steering column (on Premium models), the Buick IntelliLink system with touchscreen, wi-fi hotspot connectivity along with OnStar 4G LTE, tri-zone climate control, HID headlamps, power liftgate and a rear-view camera.
