Bugatti has unveiled the new EB - Ettore Bugatti Fall/Winter 2014/2105 Collection commercial. Shot in the exclusive mountains of Courchevel, in the French Alps, Bugatti Man is wearing the impeccably tailored velvet Blue Carpet Soiree tuxedo and the special Gentlemen Driver leather jacket inspired by the Bugatti Type 35.
Bugatti’s newest lifestyle commercial brings eccentric fashion to a higher level, literally. The Fall/Winter collection once again confirms the coherence with the brand’s DNA and its strong flamboyant character, which is the essence of the Bugatti man. A project launched by the Italian automaker in September last year, the Ettore Bugatti is trying to impersonate it’s exclusive and flashy car features into rare wearings.

Starring top model Andre Van Nord and the Iconic Type 35, the campaign represents a new chapter for the brand and its new luxury lifestyle project, authentically in line with the Bugatti prestige and heritage. At least that’s what its creators claim.

What we actually see in this commercial is the ultimate high-heeled lifestyle collection: precious overcoat with mink fur collar, tailored velvet Blue Carpet Soiree tuxedo, Gentlemen Driver leather jacket inspired by the Bugatti Type 35 and some other parts of what is supposed to be an exclusive, refined collection made entirely in Italy from the most prestigious materials.

We don’t mind all the fashion going on here, but for some reason, one of the accessories the Bugatti Man is wearing is an actual blue bag, inspired by the Bugatti radiator grille. The bag is emphasized by its juxtaposition with the vintage Type 35. And this legendary racecar that won over 1,000 races, was the one to inspire the brand’s marque through its arch-shaped radiator. Still, a blue bag?

The advertising campaign was shot by photographer Lorenzo Bringheli, who emphasizes the refinement of the collection by focusing on specific details such as the shades of classic Bugatti Blue and the precious Dancing Elephant, a scale detail that pays homage to Rembrandt Bugatti’s sculpture and a recurring theme as the brand’s signature.

According to the company, from September, the campaign will appear in the main publications of selected markets in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, where mono-brand stores will be inaugurated, starting with an exclusive boutique in London later this year. So you’d better start saving up, because that bag will definitely cost you a summer vacation. At least.
