With production of the Galibier sedan pushed back until who knows Bugatti can actually concentrate on building the cars we actually like. Both Ferrari and McLaren are probably going to go after the Veyron’s titles, but the French carmaker is not going to drop the baton.

Automobile Magazine
has just released a report saying Bugatti is working on a new Veyron Super for the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. It will be based on the SuperSport but will have less weight to carry around and an updated 8.0-liter or 9.6-liter motor with 1,600 HP.

The Veyron will undergo a weight reduction of 250 kg (550 lb), meaning that at 1.6 tons and 1,600 hp, it will have one horse for every kilo. Something tells us this will be on the cover of the brochure!

Thanks to this insane power, the new Veyron model will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 463 km/h (288 mph).

Yes, we know, we were also scratching our eyes when we first read this story.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
