London officials are still discussing the initiative to ban sportscars and supercars owners from revving their engines out loud in the middle of the city’s crowded boulevards. Meanwhile, it appears police has no intention to apply traffic rules in any way different, not even when they find a Bugatti Veyron that was parked in a wrong way, like this particular hypercar in our story.
The unlucky event apparently happened over the weekend in front of a five-star luxury hotel on Park Lane and Deanery Street, London, East of Hyde Park. For those who haven’t had the chance to visit UK’s capital city, we’d mention that this is one of the world’s most prestigious and expensive hotels. It’s also one of those places where you expect to see Bugatti Veyrons on a daily basis.

However, that doesn’t mean you can park your million-dollar on a double yellow lane, which seems to be the case for this hypercar. The car enthusiast who filmed this ironically points out the obvious: the owner of this rare breed won’t mind any parking ticket. As a matter of fact, we’re pretty sure a speeding ticket would seem a lot more natural. To understand why, let us just remember a couple of this beast’s features.

The mid-engined supercar comes with a top speed of 407 km/h (253 mph), and we’re talking about the original version. The Super Sport version of the Veyron is recognized by Guinness World Records as the fastest street-legal production car in the world, with a top speed of 267.7 mph (430.9 km/h). And that’s far from Bugatti’s last stand of monster power and speed.

Yep, we’re thinking of the new Chiron model. It has been testing under the guise of a regular Veyron prototype for about a year now. A couple of Bugatti Chiron prototypes have been spotted recently at the Los Angeles airport, not to mention those rumors claiming clients from around the world are being treated to the full reveal behind closed doors. It is believed the new hypercar will combine the trademark 16-cylinder engine with an electric motor to deliver about 1,500 horsepower.
