Seems hard to believe that the ludicrously fast Bugatti Veyron and the legendary Volkswagen Beetle have something in common, but the two totally different type of cars share the same parent company name.
That’s no reason to sit both cars at the same table, but we’ve stumbled upon a very interesting “what if” situation. Polish artists RC82 Workchop decided to incorporate several design cues of the classic Volkswagen Beetle into a Bugatti Veyron for a completely crazy “Bugeyron”.
Weird or not, we think it’s an awesome rendering. Just a quick glimpse and we can spot the famous Beetle design elements, such as a “split” hood, exterior door hinges, exhaust pipes, window frames, bumpers, deep-dish steel wheels, and the huge bug eyes that have been used on the Kafer until the 1970s. Even the color is perfect for a car that was in production for nearly 65 years.
Functionality would probably be a major issue, but who cares and who would really want to take a Beetle styled Bugatti Veyron out for a stroll anyway?
