Bugatti Veyron F1 to Star at the MPH Show

The most expensive car in the world wearing the most expensive number plate sold in the UK will be one of the highlights of the 2009 MPH The Prestige and Performance Motor Show. We are talking about a Bugatti Veyron model with the F1 number plate, which belongs to Afzal Kahn, and which will be attending the event between November 5-8.

The show will also be featuring Top Gear Live and will be held at London’s Earls Court. According to the owner, the creator of the premium tuning company Project Kahn, the special Veyron could be a perfect choice for the current Formula One champion Jenson Button.

Button, however, once owned a Veyron, which he sold for £900,000, though the car’s top speed exceeded the maximum hit by an F1 car (246 mph - 397 km/h - achieved by Honda at Bonneville in 2006). So maybe, just maybe, that was too much for him.

The 1001 bhp Bugatti Veyron F1, able to reach 100 mph (161 km/h) in just 5.5 seconds and a top speed of 253 mph (407 km/h), will be joined by the GTbyCitroen, worth over £1 million, Pagani and Koenigsegg models. According to some sources, a Ferrari FXX, a Lamborghini GT600 and a Pagani Zonda R are also likely to be featured at the show.

Other models already confirmed for 2009 include the Ariel Atom, Audi R8, Caparo T1, Invicta, Lotus Exige S, MG TF, Maserati Gran Turismo S, Porsche 911 GT3, SPyker C8 and Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead, among others.
